He is one of my old friend who starves hard and more passionate about music. Music his is world and without music, you cannot see him anywhere. Vasanth Vaseegaran inherited the musical gene from his paternal roots. His father being his first guru taught him the fundamentals of Indian classical and Western music. He was nurtured by Satya Chidambaram (whom he refers as Guru) into a fine keyboardist that he is today. Since childhood he has been giving live performances and has accompanied many distinguished musicians. A dream instilled by his father motivated him to become a composer and arranger.
His thirst to learn new music forms and unleash the intricacies of Indian classical music has put him in a continuous learning path. Recently he started learning advanced forms of carnatic music from Thiruvaiyar P. Sekar, a disciple ofDr. M. Balamurali Krishna. Sekar sir is the Asthana Vidwan of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam and is the founder and director of Mahathi Academy of Music and Dance.
