How To Unlock Bootloader of Moto G 3rd Gen

Follow the below step to unblock bootloader of moto G 3rd Generation

  1. First enter bootloader menu of your device by press Volume Down + Power buttons
  2. After entering bootloader menu, connect your Moto G smartphone with your PC via USB cable.
  3. Go to the folder where you have installed Android SDK or ADB and Fastboot tools. Now you have to open command window here by pressing windows+R and then type cmd in the run windows.After opening the command prompt,change the current directory of command prompt to ADB and fastboot path:
  4. After entering into adb and fastboot directory in command prompt,Enter the command which we have shared below in the command window.
fastboot oem get_unlock_data
  1. You will see a string popup on the window. Copy and paste string in notepad. Remove all the spaces and INFO from the string.
  2. Now you have to open this website. Use your Google account to sign in the website. Now copy the code which was in Notepad and paste it in the box. Once you have pasted the code, click on "Can my device be unlocked"?
  3. Now scroll at bottom and click on Unlock Key option followed by I Agree. Now click on Request Unlock Key. You will receive an e-mail using which you logged in.
  4. Open the mail and copy the key received in it. Now use the same command prompt which you used earlier to enter the command mentioned below.
fastboot oem unlock “enter key here”
Hit Enter and the bootloader of your Moto G 3rd gen smartphone will get unlocked.
