Microsoft has launched the Lumia 540 dual SIM phone in New Delhi on Thursday at Rs 10,199. The pre-booking will start from May 18.
The Microsoft Lumia 540 dual SIM comes with a 5-inch HD display and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS which is upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile OS.
The Lumia 540 dual SIM will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. This is paired with 1GB of RAM and there is 8GB of storage which is expandable to 128GB via a microSD card. Microsoft has also preinstalled Skype and Office on the device so that it is suitable for productivity as well as multimedia communication and consumption and is also bundling in 30GB of free cloud storage.
It will sport an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera for the selfie enthusiasts. On the connectivity front, you will get Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi, GPS, 3G support and so on. A 2200mAh battery will be powering the device.
